What is Download?
Download is a service developed specifically for event screening exhibitors. Using our Download Manager, you can securely download films to screen with optional audio/subtitles (availability varies by title).
All files are piracy-protected and will auto-delete once the licence has expired. Each download costs an additional £10 (inc. VAT) per booking.

What equipment is required for Download?
Downloads work on most current laptops using Google's browser: 'Chrome’. You will need an internet connection to download the film files and for security checks when you screen your film.
How secure is Filmbankmedia's Download service?
We worked in collaboration with studios to ensure digital downloads would meet their security standards so you can rest assured your screenings are studio-compliant.
Can I screen Downloads offline?
No, the security in place for download needs an internet connection to complete the checks at playback. The film will play from the download on your computer and will not be streamed, so the connection required is small and the data used is no more than an email.
