Screening films in educational institutions

Under UK copyright law, educational institutions such as schools, colleges,
universities and PTA's wishing to screen a film in an extracurricular setting will generally require a licence from the copyright owner or its representatives.

The Public Video Screening
Licence (PVSL) allows you to legally organise ad-hoc
screenings of films from our participating studios.

Please note that if the educational institution does not obtain the required licence, they risk infringing copyright.

Developed with and for schools, Into Film+ brings learning to life, providing curriculum-linked films and resources that support learning outcomes for pupils aged 5-19.
