Under copyright law, the screening of a film to audiences outside of the cinema or their home for entertainment purposes generally requires a licence from the copyright owner or their representatives (such as Filmbankmedia) before doing so.

Working with technology providers and integrators

Filmbankmedia work with system integrators who provide and install network infrastructure and bedside patient terminals to deliver our programming on-demand. To meet Content Protection Requirements all technology employed to deliver film and TV entertainment has to be studio/distributor and copyright security compliant.

To enable this, Filmbankmedia can assist our technical partners in obtaining Digital Rights Management (DRM) software so that their systems meet rights holders’ requirements.
