Synopsis:
Thoughtful tearjerker about a married couple, a newspaperman (Grant) and record store clerk (Dunne), who struggle to keep their relationship afloat when the wife has a miscarriage and can no longer bear children. Faced with persistent difficulties, including money troubles and a stubborn adoption agency, their love for each other keeps the marriage bond intact.
