This award winning and inspiring documentary tells the story of how the students of a small town school started working on a history assignment that snowballed into a unique and touching Holocaust memorial which gained world-wide attention. Struggling to grasp the concept of six-million Holocaust victims, the students decide to collect paper clips to better understand the extent of this crime against humanity, one for each victim. In the end the students collect many more than the original six million, representing the much higher death toll that affected other minorities under the Nazi regime.
