Synopsis:
This is the journey of an individual from birth to adolescence to maturity and back to birth again. Of course, our main character is a walrus, who begins her life at 150 lbs. Her mother--like all walrus mothers--is the "mother of all mothers": she stays at her baby's side continuously, with absolute devotion, for two full years. Our supporting character is a young polar bear cub, another giant of the Arctic, who also learns the ways of the world through her mother's guidance.
