LAST BOY SCOUT

Joe Hallenbeck and Jimmy Dix have something in common - both men have reached an all-time low in their lives. Joe is a down and out ex-secret service agent, with a wife and daughter to feed. Jimmy is a down and out ex-professional quarterback for the L.A. Stallions whose wife and child were killed by a drunk driver. Through the murder of one of Hollenbeck’s clients, a stripper named Cory (Dig’s girlfriend), they have been thrown together in an investigation which ultimately uncovers a plot involving blackmail, extortion, a major political figure, an unscrupulous team owner and a very real threat to the game of professional football itself.
