Synopsis:
Jay, a first time novelist sets up his best friend, ladies man and local TV sportscaster Max, with his book editor Sam. He cannot date her himself, as she already knows far too much about him from his confessional memoirs. Sam is a literary snob who detests sport and Max has no interest in books whatsoever, but to Jay's astonishment and dismay the two hit it off and are rapidly announcing their engagement. However when Max's anxieties rise to the surface, he suggests putting Sam's fidelity to the test with Jay as the bait!!
