Synopsis:

Told from the perspective of English nobleman Darley (Michael York), JUSTINE is the story of a Jewish prostitute in Egypt who sleeps her way to the top. She marries a financial minister and continues to use her sex appeal to get what she and her husband desire. She helps the Jews fight the British and Arabs for their homeland, as well as fighting for fair treatment of both the Jews and the local Coptic Christians, who are also persecuted by the Moslem majority. The film includes adultery, incest, and homosexuality, along with religious and nationalistic fervor.
