Disney’s beloved classic car returns in this charming comedy for all ages! The third generation of a NASCAR-racing family, Maggie (Lindsay Lohan, “Freaky Friday”) yearns to continue the family tradition, but her overprotective dad, Ray (Michael Keaton, of “Batman” and “Beetlejuice” fame), has banned her from pursuing her dream. As a gift for his daughter’s college graduation, Ray takes Maggie to a junkyard to choose a used car. Although she is initially drawn to another car, a rusty, beat-up Volkswagen bug, Number 53, seems to clamor for her attention, and she claims it for her own. But when she tries to leave town for a job with ESPN, Maggie discovers that the VW, Herbie, has a mind of its own – and an action-packed alternate route for her future.
