Synopsis:

Lord Clayton and his pregnant wife Alice, are shipwrecked off the African coast. They fashion a makeshift jungle home, have a son, and in the fullness of time, die. From aristocratic womb to steaming jungle, the 7th Earl of Greystoke is adopted by a she ape. When an expedition of whiter hunters is attacked by cannibals, Tarzan saves the life of Belgian captain, Phillippe D'Arnot. D'Arnot teaches the young man to speak English and eventually brings him back to England and his ancestral estate. Slowly he acquires the social graces of an English gentleman, but his primitive jungle urges remain and the question ‘Who am I, nobleman or savage’, will soon be answered.
