GERONIMO
Focusing on the final months of the US army’s ‘Geronimo campaign’ of 1885-1886, the film tells the story of the events leading to the surrender of the legendary Apache Geronimo. Accompanying him at the time of his capture were 34 men, women and children. The army had developed 5,000 regular troops, one fourth of its entire force, to bring Geronimo in. Ultimately, Geronimo’s fight is to prevent the death of a nation’s spirit.
