Synopsis:

George Banks can scarcely conceive that the 22-year-old apple of his paternal eye, his daughter Annie, is old enough to date boys, let alone march down the aisle with one. Annie is in love with a young man seen by everyone else as the perfect catch, but George is loath to accept his son-in-law to be, or the flamboyant wedding co-ordinator hired by his wife. He finds himself unwillingly struggling with the day-to-day surprise wrought by the two most expensive words in his daughter''s vocabulary: ''I do''.
