DIARY OF A CHAMBERMAID
An outspoken 19th-century maid provokes conflicting emotions within a household of eccentrics. Her deepest desire is a wealthy marriage, but she attracts the interest of a valet, who murders his wealthy employer to win her heart. Directed by Jean Renoior, and remade in 1964 by Bunuel.
