CARLITO'S WAY
After a miscarriage of justice and five years in prison Carlito Brigante comes home to the tough streets of Spanish Harlem. On reflection he decides that it’s time to leave, to get out while his honour, his reflexes and his body parts are still intact. He thinks that moving to Paradise Island and buying into a car rental agency will be his answer, he only needs a stake. Suddenly his lawyer, David Kleinfield, comes forward with the perfect proposition. Just a small debt of friendship. Just a favour. But if Carlito’s learnt anything from the streets, it’s that a favour will kill you faster than any bullet.
