BUSINESS AS USUAL
When a co-worker is harassed by her boss, Babs Flynn rises to the woman's defense--and is promptly fired for the trouble. Babs responds by organizing demonstrators to picket the store. Although her newfound militance puts strains on her marriage--her unemployed husband is jealous of her sudden prominence--it also puts the chainstore's owners on notice that they can no longer conduct "business as usual". It's a truthful, uplifting portrait of Britain's working class--and of the changing attitudes towards women and their rights.
