BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS
In 1937, in a lower-middle class section of Brooklyn, live the Jerome family, hard-working moral Jews whose problems are all taken to heart by Mama Kate. One of her main worries, and does she have worried, is Eugene, and aspiring teenage writer, whose foremost concerns are sex and baseball. The emotional strife and assorted life crises are lovingly recalled by Neil Simon in this adaptation of his own autobiographical play.
