Synopsis:

James Clayton (Colin Farrell) is one of the top prospects in the new crop of CIA recruits. His intelligence and unconventional attitude attract the attention of veteran Walter Burke (Al Pacino), who teaches him the ropes and the rules of the game. Clayton quickly rises through the ranks and falls for Layla (Bridget Moynahan), one of his fellow recruits. Then the Agency tapes him for a special assignment: to root out a suspected mole that has infiltrated the Agency. Clayton soon discovers that the mole could be anyone around him, even those who are closest to him. As he embarks on his increasingly dangerous mission, Clayton must hold fast to the CIA’s oldest maxims -- "everything is a test" and "nothing is what it seems."
