Synopsis:

In this epic William Goldman adventure/drama, set at the turn of the century, a European railroad engineer travels to equatorial Africa in order to build a railroad bridge. The startling deaths of several railroad workers reveal that a man-eating lion is in the vicinity, but no one is prepared for the truth: not one, but two enormous lions are responsible. When the expert hunters fail, the engineer faces the animals by himself, and his courage is tested in one suspenseful confrontation after another.
