BEFORE YOU GO

Based on Shelagh Stephenson’s play "The Memory of Water", is this darkly engaging comedy about siblings returning to Northumberland for their mother’s funeral. Skeletons soon begin to tumble from the closet as the three sisters look back and reminisce whilst attempting to deal with their present day demons. Catherine the youngest daughter, a hypochondriac pines for her two-timing boyfriend. Mary the middle and troubled sibling is visited by the deceased mother intermittently. Teresa, the oldest daughter whose tireless devotion to her mother has distanced her relationship with her husband now seeks to readdress the balance.
