Synopsis:
Helen Knable has had it with her "couch potato" husband. He barely notices her and the children, so engrossed is he in the television set. One dramatic day the kids return from school to find a huge, state-of-the-art, television humming eerily in the empty lounge. They are quick to discover that their parents have been sucked into the world of TV and are an unwilling and terrified part of a 24 hour trial entertainment channel of gruesome game shows. They must survive the bizarre programmes, as their children watch, if they are to have their normal lives back.
