Synopsis:
Henry is a part-time writer and full-time lush, who spends most of his time in a seedy downtown L.A. bar, swapping tales with the burned-out regulars and brawling with the bartender. He is "discovered" by a woman publisher, who is convinced that he's a literary genius, and Henry is forced to choose between success and his familiar life on skid row.
