Synopsis:
The death of his longtime wife turns Lawrence, an aging professor, into a bitter eccentric. He's alienated his son and transformed his daughter into a friendless overachiever. When Lawrence falls for a former student and his shiftless adopted brother comes knocking on the door in search of a place to stay, it's going to take quite a bit more than intellectual thinking to move past this sticky stage in his suddenly chaotic life.
